1. Simple Present & Simple Past

Simple Present

Fungsi Mengungkapkan kebiasaan, fakta umum, atau keadaan saat ini.

Structure:

Positive: Subject + base verb (add -s for he/she/it). (Subjek + kata kerja dasar (tambahkan -s untuk dia/dia/itu)

Negative: Subject + do/does not + base verb. (Subjek + melakukan/tidak + kata kerja dasar)

Question: Do/Does + subject + base verb. (Do/Does + subjek + kata kerja dasar)

Examples:

Positive:

1. She reads a book every day. ( dia membaca buku setiap hari )

2. I walk to school. ( Saya berjalan kaki ke sekolah )

3. They play football on weekends.(Mereka bermain sepak bola di akhir pekan.)

4. He studies English. (Dia belajar bahasa Inggris)

5. We enjoy music. (Kami menikmati musik)

Negative:

1. She does not eat meat.(Dia tidak makan daging )

2. I do not like coffee. ( Saya tidak suka kopi)

3. He does not watch TV. ( Dia tidak menonton TV )

4. They do not go to the park. (Mereka tida pergi ke taman)

5. We do not play chess. ( Kami tidak bermain catur )

Simple Past

Structure:

Positive: Subject + past verb (Subjek + kata kerja lampau)
